This Privacy Policy describes how Remade (“we”, “us” or “our”) collects and uses the personal information you provide to us on our website: www.getremade.com (collectively the “Site”). It also describes the choices available to you regarding our use of your personal information and how you can access and update this information. Remade understands how important your privacy is and is intentional in protecting the information you provide to us.

Capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy shall have the meaning set forth in our Terms of Use.

Users defined

This Privacy Policy applies to visitors to the Website, who view only publicly-available content (“Visitors”), and customers who have purchased a Product or Subscription to our services (“Customers”). It also applies to users who opt in to receive marketing information through email or SMS (Short Message Service). By visiting our Site, you are agreeing to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the accompanying Terms of Use. What we may collect

What we share

Cookies

Sweepstakes, contests and promotions

Text marketing and notifications

By entering your phone number in the checkout and initializing a purchase, or subscribing via our subscription form or a keyword, you agree that we may send you text notifications (for your order, including abandoned cart reminders) and text marketing offers. Text marketing messages will not exceed 30 a month. You acknowledge that consent is not a condition for any purchase.

If you wish to unsubscribe from receiving text marketing messages and notifications, reply STOP to any mobile message sent from us or use the unsubscribe link we provided you within any of our messages. Security

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee its absolute security. To help protect yourself, choose a unique password for our Site that you do not use on any other website. Your privacy rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights under applicable privacy laws. As a courtesy, we extend these choices to all of our Visitors and Customers regardless of location:

Access / know — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
Correction — request that we correct inaccurate personal information;
Deletion — request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal record-keeping exceptions (for example, completed order records);
Opt out of targeted advertising / “sale” or “sharing” — ask us to stop sharing your information with advertising partners for interest-based ads;
Marketing opt-outs — unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in any email, and from texts by replying STOP.

Children’s privacy

Our products are intended for adults, and the Site is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 years of age. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us at hello@getremade.com and we will delete it.

Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law — for example, order and transaction records are kept for tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution purposes, and records of subscription billing consent are kept for at least three years. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

International users (EU, UK, and other regions)

We ship to customers in the EU, UK, and other regions, and this section applies if you are located there. We process your personal information on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (fulfilling your order and subscription), your consent (marketing emails/texts and non-essential cookies, which you may withdraw at any time), our legitimate interests (site security, analytics, improving our services), and compliance with legal obligations. Your information is processed in the United States and by service providers that may be located in other countries; where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for these transfers.
